How does the free trial work?
14 days, no credit card required. You get 1,000 API calls and access to all four layers. At the end of the trial, choose a paid tier or your key is deactivated.
What is Echo?
Echo enriches your story clusters with real-time discourse signal from Reddit and Bluesky — surfacing counter-narratives, controversy scores, and platform-specific sentiment. It's included in Professional and above and accessible via the developer console.
What is Eventide Pro and why is it included in Professional?
Eventide is a visual intelligence graph — a live, navigable rendering of your L3 namespace. At the Professional tier, your pipeline data is rich enough to warrant exploring it visually. Eventide Pro also includes Digestr Pro, our news intelligence app, so your team has both the API and the human-readable surface in one subscription.
What is OSP and is it really free for all tiers?
OSP (Open Smart Protocol) is an open standard for structured intelligence delivery. Every Polari tier includes OSP event emission — your endpoints receive signed, structured payloads for events like story.created, trend.detected, and entity.spike with at-least-once delivery guarantees. What's the difference between Atlas and the Intelligence Graph (L3)?
L3 maps relationships and trends across your news corpus. Atlas is a separate grounding layer — it keeps your LLMs anchored to current, namespace-scoped intelligence at inference time. Atlas is designed for production AI pipelines; L3 is for analysis and exploration. Learn more about Atlas →
What counts as an API call?
Each HTTP request to any /v1/ endpoint counts as one call, regardless of result size. OSP webhook deliveries do not count against your limit.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Is there a beta discount?
Yes — beta customers (first 20) get Professional tier free for 6 months. Request early access to qualify.
